History

The Commercial Center Plaza Colonial Escazu, inaugurated in the year of 1994, was conceived and built with great concept of novelty and ingenuity so much for its strategic localization as for its beautiful architecture and design of open spaces. At the beginning was focus to open a way of recreational places for the youth, such as discos, coffees, etc., achieving it with an important success, however, after a time the community began to complain causing a series of problems and inconveniences that forces the Municipality to limit these activities affecting the development and positioning of the place from the commercial point of view.

Re-launch

In the year 2002 important decisions were taken, one of them was to carry out an additional investment and to rejuvenate practically the whole building, the other one refers to the use of the second and third floor, exclusively for office area. This new strategy has had an excellent welcome and the proof of it is the very high occupation, not to say total, which was obtained last year. Little by little the clients and general visitors have known this new concept of Colonial Square and over the time there are more companies interested in enjoying the competitive advantages offered at the building. At the present time we have Construction Companies, Tourist Projects, Lawyers, Beauty parlors, Jeweler's, tanning salon and Restaurants among others.
